Bible Institute

Established in 2013, the Mount View Baptist Bible Institute is designed to provide a college level education, either for credit or audit, to lay people within the local church. The mission of MVBBI is "the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:12). To this end, each course provides an in depth study of biblical doctrine to ground students in their faith, better enabling them to serve effectively in leadership within the local church. Currently, with the exception of course text books, there is no cost to those attending the Institute. Students auditing the class are not required to take the course exams. Those attending for credit may receive a Certificate of Academic Readiness for Ordination upon satisfactory completion of the Institute.
