The Missionary Prayer Band is a vital ministry of the Mount View Baptist Temple. Predicated upon the admonition in 2 Thessalonians 3:1, 2, this ministry is dedicated to lifting up our missionaries in prayer. During the week, members pray daily for their missionaries and contact them via email to learn how they might better pray for them. Meeting once a month, the members then share special needs from the field and advise the church of particular prayer requests. The Missionary Prayer Band also takes part in organizing various Missions-related activities.
